Tappermade and Along Avec Anna's wool shampoo is a gentle, non-toxic, and allergen-free cleanser. The lanolin in the wool shampoo acts as a natural conditioner, keeping fibers supple and reducing static electricity. It's pH neutral, sulfate-free, and phosphate-free, making it ideal for your most delicate silk and mohair items. That's why we call it a shampoo; it gently cleanses the yarn's natural fibers as gently as you would wash your hair.

Why a solid?

Their wool shampoo is packaged without any plastic and without water . This significantly reduces the carbon footprint because they are not shipping water. Their wool shampoo contains gentle, non-toxic surfactants that are easily biodegradable. This means it is kind to the planet.

The shampoo weighs 50g and will last for approximately 25 hand washes. Your laundry water can be used for multiple knits at once, allowing you to wash even more knits.

Ingredients:

A mild, sulfate-free anionic surfactant derived from coconut oil and isethionic acid.
A non-ionic surfactant derived from vegetable and fruit sugars.
Lanolin.
A natural binder derived from algae.
Allergen-free fragrances (lavender and jasmine options only).

How to use it

For washing and blocking.
Blocking wash – dissolve the equivalent of half a teaspoon (approx. 2g) in approx. 15L of warm water. For washing, you can use a little more soap and gently rub your solid shampoo into the stains on your knitwear if necessary. This wool wash/shampoo does not need to be rinsed.
